Customers can export their data and use other compatible services. The telemetry is recorded against an open standard governed bySPUR, not a proprietary format, and our ingestion service is one conformant implementation of it rather than a required destination.
Our value is the implementation, the evidence and the workflow. It is not locking up the underlying standard, and a monitoring service that only retains customers because leaving is painful is not a business worth building.
Monitoring follows implementation.
There is little worth monitoring until the data is correct and the telemetry is installed. If you already have both, we can scope monitoring on its own.
